Saturday (May 29) morning at 7:30 a.m. a web feature, with video and pictures will post to the
cbc.ca/edmonton website.
Saturday morning at 7:40 a.m. Wagner Natural Area will be showcased on the province-wide radio program Daybreak Alberta.
Throughout the weekend there will be social posts showcasing the content from Wagner.

Wagner Orchid Walk
When: June 13, 2021: all day
What: Take a self-guided tour of the Marl Pond Trail for blooms of Yellow Lady’s-Slippers and other orchids.
We anticipate this date to be close to the peak flowering.
Where: Start at the Wagner parking lot and take a hike around the trail–physically distanced, of course.
No need to pre-register.
We hope to post info about the orchid blossoming periodically.
Wagner Weed-Wacking Workbee
When: June 19, 2021: 9 a.m. to noon
What: Help dispatch undesirable invasive plants with the Wagner Weeding Crew–Tansy, Pale Yellow Iris, etc.
Where: Meet at the Wagner Natural Area parking lot (check our website for this location
www.wagnerfen.ca)
Come prepared for the weather, mosquitoes, and wet areas. Gloves and boots, water and snacks are recommended.
Bring gardening trowels or short spades if you have them.
